From Classical Phrygian ɑɓpɑ̄ɑ̄̔ɯ (abrāhām), borrowed from Ancient Greek Ἀβρᾱᾱ́μ (Abrāā́m), from Biblical Hebrew אַבְרָהָם (ʼAḇrāhām), thus relating it to Modern Phrygian ɛɓ̰ (eb) and possibly pɛ́ıɛɯ (réiem). Doublet of ᴀɓpɑɑ̔ɯ.
