For transcripting foreign names, a velar + '''u''' /u/ is added. On velars, this triggers a labiovelarisation and it'd be ''guilli'' /ɡ͡bili/. Either that or just a /b/. They can speak other languages as well! ;) But yes, well guessed! I have the sample word ''kuedzi'' /ˈk͡pɛdzi/ which is a loanword meaning "A bread baked in the oven, oven bread" from Slavic ''*pekti''. For transcripting foreign names, a velar + u /u/ is added. On velars, this triggers a labiovelarisation and it'd be guilli /ɡ͡bili/. Either that or just a /b/. They can speak other languages as well! ;) But yes, well guessed! I have the sample word kuedzi /ˈk͡pɛdzi/ which is a loanword meaning "A bread baked in the oven, oven bread" from Slavic *pekti.
