A random list of faux-Germanic language terms I use.

List in Question

  • TANZ VON DE DRAKEVLUYEN
High-Germanic loan of a French loan of a Frankish term which was originally **þansōną? Also, drakon(t)- (δράκων) > drake.
Rosen = red instead of roten or roden. Cf. himinaz > himme with drakon(t)- > drake. Note drake = male duck is from anud(z)-reko/rekaz
  • GEIGNE/DOUR/DEAR DE VLUYWEVE (*gagin/thurhw/therhw thə fleugǭ wabją)
