* In common speech, the future and conditional indicative tenses are usually formed by a personal conjugation of ''verdare'' + infinitive. In the present (i.e. ''eo verdo'', ''tu verdas'', etc.) it conveys a future meaning, while in the perfect tense (i.e. ''eo vardo'', ''tu vardasti'', etc.) it will form a conditional instead. Notice that the verb still undergoes ablaut in the perfect tense.<br>In more formal settings or in careful speech, a synthetic conjugation of the infinitive verb replaces the verbal construction.
