Grammatical Notes
- SECONDARY = -sa is a secondary verb marker, and must be used on a verb if it is not the first or not the primary verb in a sentence
- Ø = normally adjectives are placed directly after the noun, but if there is a verb that seperates them, the adjective is kept in it's pure form (in which there is no gender/case marked on it)
- jümense - in combined words, diareses (¨) can be placed over a vowel to indicate the proper primary stress of the word.
- A diacritic (´) is used to differentiate similarly spelled words. For example, enkéto means while, or
during, but enketo is the masculine form of well known/famous.
- Progressive verbs are constructed by combining sã and by turining either the o or a of the infinitive form into a nasal vowel by marking it with a Til (~). So Class I verbs have -õr and Class II have -ãr
