Tarueb is the native language of about 20 million people, the majority of which living in the country of Taruebus. It is the only language of a country of the former Kaiṣamā which has always been written in the Íscégon script, and the only one not to have a significant Chlouvānem part of its modern day vocabulary.

Tarueb and Taruebus are, like many names of places and peoples on Calémere, names that have a long history, dating from the first conworld-like things I made back when I was 9 or 10 (when I pronounced it [taruˈeːbus]. Later on, in an early version of Calémere, the one [[Laceyiam]] was in, Tarueb was a Cis-Tahianshima language, genealogically related to Laceyiam. The current version of Tarueb is a completely different language, and has nothing to do with either Laceyiam or [[Chlouvānem]]. My main inspiration for it is Swiss German, with also bits of Nahuatl, English, and Wolof.
