Schong (shong, natively jahn Schong /jan41 sʰɔŋ55/; Hlou: Ntzog Xöb) is an analytic tonal Lakovic language (related to Windermere), spoken in Tumhan. It's inspired by Dutch, Cantonese, Thai and Burmese.
The name Schong is thought to be an exonym from a Hlou-Shum language, ultimately from "Ashan" (a name for a Lakovic speaking people or a Talman region?); however, Schong is in the Tumhanic branch, not Ashanic. Its closest relative is Æ.

Schong is, in many ways, the second incarnation of my old Neck Thai, which was a Thai giblang spelled like Dutch.
