It is Scandinavian-inspired, but not necessarily based off of any single one of those languages. I'm currently learning Danish for an exchange trip next year, although I was supposed to go to Norway, so I possess a knowledge of both of those languages. (My first choice was Norway, but there must have been some problem, i.e, there wasn't a host family, so I got put in my second choice, Denmark) I don't really know too much about Swedish beyond what can be gleaned from having knowledge of the other two. What I do find rather peculiar is the word "áppel", in which I would have expected the /p/ to have been voiced, historically. A tip is that you try to work out the sound shifts from Proto-Germanic a bit more.
