Schngaoife is a shorthand for "created by Schlomo Schngellstein in Canon Tricin, Aoife Ní Fhlaithbheartaigh in Crackfic Tricin". These respective people are best known for their ___ game and its associated conlang, An Bhlaoighne.

This "setting" is our (Inthar and Praimhín's) placeholder for conlangs that are too memey or unnaturalistic for any of our conworlds.

In Tricin

Schlomo Schngellstein is the pen name of Tobiterol Zoloft (born fT 2451 in Streptomycin, Clofabolocin), a Clofabian-Fyxoomian conlanger, video game composer and video game developer. Schngellstein is interested in Talmic and Idavic linguistics and diachronics. He speaks Clofabosin and Eevo natively, and he is also fluent in Anbirese, Windermere and Shinach Netagin. His favorite Trician languages are the Talmic and Idavic languages.

In Crackfic Tricin

Aoife O'Flaherty (An Bhlaoighne and Irish: Aoife Ní Fhlaithbheartaigh (pronounced differently in the two languages), Ăn Yidiș and Hebrew: חמדה ני ףֿל׳אַהארתּיהּ Ăn Yidiș /'χemtə nɪ 'wahərtʰɪh/, Hebrew /'χemda ni 'laherti/) is a Fishomian conlanger, video game composer and video game developer of Irish-Jewish descent. She is a native speaker of Cualand Ăn Yidiș, Irish, and English, and is fluent in Hebrew, Mandarin and Șinach Netagin. She is a trans woman and a Reconstructionist Jew.

Conlangs

Schngaoife avoids Old Irish or Tigol aesthetics for fantasy languages because that's the default fantasy aesthetic in Tricin/CF Tricin

Alt-Tricin

  • Quame
    • Not-quite-Proto-Talmic (stop system: p b φ t d θ k g x q ɢ χ)
      • Tigol: quasi-literal Irish
        • Tíogall (retconned German-ish Scellic with mutations)
        • Scellan
    • Altwiebisch (same as in Crackfic Tricin)
    • Naquian
      • Alt-hist Naquic languages
  • Lakovic

Fictional conworlds

For a fantasy conworld

  • Hlou-Shum
  • Gaufian (Gaofiar tslach): Ăn Yidiș + Windermere + Mandarin aesthetic but it's head-final
    • borrows words from a classical language which is a really weird language family with simple phonology but complex morphophonology (loosely Irish and Korean)

Others

  • Camalic --- A language family inspired by Literal Irish, Semitic/Idavic and Nurian
  • Justin Wieber
  • a language family inspired by Tsimulh

Erde (Schngellstein only)

Verse:Tricin/Earth

Video games

  • (something with Méich Bhaonnáiqh in it), a science fantasy RPG

Music

  • Wrote the soundtrack for Méich Bhaonnáiqh
  • works in many different tunings but mainly small edos and mosses and functional harmony using iso-differential chords as consonances
  • A 3-part fugue in 8ed(3/2)
  • lots of 11edo, 13edo, 18edo, 26edo and 12ed3/2 pieces
    • Well-Tempered 13edo Clavier: 26 Preludes (some of them fugues or prelude+fugue) in 13edo
  • fav mos is 11edo's 4L 3s (fav mkdes 6|0, 5|1, 0|6), sometimes other mosses like antidiatonic, 5L 3s (the 7|0, 6|1, 5|2, 4|3 modes and some altered modes).
  • often multiple tunings in one song
  • melodic, not too dark, but not above bittersweetness
  • likes counterpoint (isn't really a thing for Talmans or Tsarfati Jews)
