Anyway, a large part of the country is dominated by tropical climates, with consistently high mean temperatures all throughout the year. Virtually all areas south of 10°N have an tropical rainforest climate (except for dry areas in rainshadows), and this climate is also found in sporadic patches north of it - including, notably, the capital city area around Lūlunīkam Lake. A tropical monsoon climate, with more yearly variation in precipitation, is found in most of the Far East, most of the Plain, and parts of the West, shifting to a tropical savanna climate inland.
