== Permission to use Module:qhv-pron ==

Hi! I am a contributor for High Valyrian on [https://wiki.languageinvention.com/index.php?title=Main_Page wiki.languageinvention.com], and I was wondering if I could use [[Module:qhv-pron]] (and the associated template [[Template:Qhv-IPA]] and make some adaptations, on our wiki. It's really great work by you and it seems unnecessary to do the same work twice. I will give you credit of course. I would really appreciate it! ::I found an error in [[Module:qhv-pron]] in that it assigns stress to the last syllable if the word ends in ''ks''. If you move line 43 (<code><nowiki>term = gsub(term, "·$", "")</nowiki></code>) to line 38 , it is solved. (Also, it doesn't do well with adjacent vowels that don't form a diphtong (hiatus), but you can solve that by adding <code><nowiki>·</nowiki></code> between them. That one seems harder to solve by changing the code). --[[User:Juelos|Juelos]] ([[User talk:Juelos|talk]]) 07:44, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Hey! It's my first time back here in a few months, and it was a pleasant surprise to see a page I'd read a few times before make it to the front page. So I just wanted to pop by and congratulate you on the achievement and say thanks for sharing such a cool language! == Creating templates for images with overlaid labels ==

For some time I've been creating templates on Linguifex by using or copying and adapting templates already made on Linguifex (often by you!).
Where this fails, I've been checking out Wiktionary templates.

I've been trying to create a template that would let me have an image of a human head, with labels positioned at each feature like '''[[wikt:head#English|here]]'''.

Unfortunately, while I can add images and tables (and have done in lots of places on Linguifex), trying to overlay labels '''''on''''' the image is beyond me, and I'm having trouble finding/identifying the correct template to take from Wiktionary, especially as they seem to use multiple templates of their own. I've got this far '''[[Contionary:kupp|for example]]'''.

Can you help?

Thanks, [[User:Tardigrade|Tardigrade]] ([[User talk:Tardigrade|talk]]) 14:25, 29 October 2022 (UTC)

: Hi @[[User:Tardigrade|Tardigrade]], thanks for stopping by. It turns out I did tinker with this template not long ago (past April, it seems). The template in question is [[Template:picdic]], and ''[[wikt:Template:picdic|this]]'' is the corresponding Wiktionary documentation for it. However, I don't remember if it actually worked or if I ever tested it. Let me know if it doesn't work; I'll be glad to help! :: Hi @[[User:Sware|Sware]], thanks for your help. This template works great so far, although I'm still trying to finetune the labels. If you take a look at [[Contionary:kupp#Niemish]], you'll see that the link-labels don't appear as simply the names of the body parts. I've tried using [[Template:term]] and Wiktionary's advice to use altlink=, but neither of them generate what I really want. Can you help with this?

Creating templates for images with overlaid labels

For some time I've been creating templates on Linguifex by using or copying and adapting templates already made on Linguifex (often by you!). Where this fails, I've been checking out Wiktionary templates.

Hi @Tardigrade, thanks for stopping by. It turns out I did tinker with this template not long ago (past April, it seems).
